ABOUT ME
I DON'T HAVE CLIENTS, I HAVE LIFE-LONG FRIENDS.
Hi! I'm Kari. My journey in real estate began with the purchase of my first home in Arizona. My home was in an historic part of Old Phoenix and being its caretaker fostered my interest and love for real estate.
As a kid, I enjoyed tagging along with my parents at the Parade of Homes, so I must have known at a young age that my life would be all about real estate! I attended UW-Madison after which I lived in Singapore and Australia for a time - where I had amazing travel & gastronomical opportunities and enjoyed meeting people from all different cultures and backgrounds. Interestingly, while abroad, I even made friendships with ties to my hometown!
After traveling, I landed back in my hometown of Stoughton where I dove into real estate. What drew me to this incredible career was getting to know peoples' stories and experiences and helping them find their perfect homes. I get to forge friendships with all people, from every walk of life and culture. It's fascinating how our histories connect us - often I discover connections through friends and family histories!
While I work in all aspects of real estate - residential, luxury, second home, investment properties, commercial - first-time home-buyers are near and dear to my heart. Helping a client into their first home, and then watching them begin their journey through life, starting a family, following new career opportunities - I love being a part of their story.
I am a 17-year resident of Lake Kegonsa. I love all aspects of waterfront living - watching the seasonal changes and wildlife - and am an avid paddle boarder. I am a member of the Friends of Lake Kegonsa, Yaraha Lakes Association, and a sustainer of Clean Lakes Alliance. As a past Board of Directors member of the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, I created a wine-tasting fundraiser, showcasing local vendors & artists, to benefit scholarship programs, which has since evolved into additional endeavors.
I am so excited to become a part of your story!
